We have often heard project managers are only people managers. How much truth lies in this statement? I will write in this blog about “The three P’S of Project Management” and Project Manager life around these P’s.
These three P’s are:
- People Management
- Process Management
- Performance Management
People management is important and without this, you cannot accomplish the project Objectives. But other two P’s are equally important.
Process Management actually provides the successful set of rules which leads to provide successful Project Implementation.
Performance Management measure the Project KPI’s, if the project is within budget, on time and within defined scope.
As a Project Manager, these three P’s are very important to bring the success in your project. If the project is going good then it means the flavour of People, Process and Performance is balanced [1].
