Tips to improve Self-confidence in yourself

Today I will write about the most importance success factor of your personal or professional life is “Self-Confidence”.

“Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” – E.E. Cummings

It’s very easy to believe that you do not have the ability in a situation when you fail to achieve something. The difference between success and failure does not revolve around only your lasting ability.  It’s fine that you may lack the necessary skillset but you can improve it with learning. The biggest factor in determining your level of success is your “Self-Confidence”. I have read somewhere If your size of goals and ambitions grows then your Self-Confidence should also match to that level.

If you are the person who lacks self-esteem, try these tips:

  • Identify your talents and successes: Take some time out to review your successes and all the things that you are good at. At first, you might feel that you do not have enough good abilities. Close your eyes and think. Start from your school life, personal life and professional life. What comes in your mind. Make a list. Maybe you are good listener, have a great patience, loyal towards others, a good multitasker, honest and many more traits that you posses but are unaware off. Take this talent into your heart and recognize that it has been given to you as a gift.
  • Fight against your inner fears: You may have some inner fairs that you are not good at doing this and that. Stop listening to these fears. Try to overcome it. Once you will believe on these fears, then these will win. These are just thoughts and you have to challenge them. So, stop listening to them. If you hear a thought saying I’m not as successful as others, I’m not as fast as others or I’m not as creative as my peers, challenge it. Try to overcome these by saying, “Yes, I am learning and improving day by day.
  • Be your own supporter and Companion: Treat your inner like your best friend and give best support. Could it be that you are treating yourself worse than you would a friend? How come? When your friend is in difficult situation then what would you say to him and how you build him up? Treat yourself in the same way.

Be your own friend, trust yourself and think positive. Trust me, you will win.
